Job summary

A leading financial services company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Assistant Manager for Business Development with a Japanese language proficiency. The role involves proposing financing solutions, conducting KYC assessments, managing case progress, and building strong client relationships. The position aims for revenue growth and market analysis. This is a contracted role with potential for permanent placement based on performance. Working hours are Monday to Friday from 8:45 AM to 5:30 PM.

Responsibilities

  • Propose financing solutions and facilitate business matching opportunities.
  • Conduct on-site visits and KYC assessments; prepare credit proposals.
  • Manage assigned cases and supervise junior staff.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and partners.
  • Monitor performance of existing clients and support collection activities.
  • Analyze market trends and identify new business opportunities.
  • Develop and execute action plans to meet revenue and client targets.
  • Prepare regular reports for strategic decision-making.

License diversified leasing and financial services company that provides financing solutions to commercial businesses across Malaysia.

Their fulltime headcount currently full, that's why using renewable contract. Will based on performance convert contract staff to permanence staff in 2026 financial year (April).

Responsibilities
  • Propose financing solutions and facilitate business matching opportunities for both existing and prospective clients, aiming to generate income and structure financing deals.
  • Conduct on-site visits and thorough Know Your Customer (KYC) assessments and prepare and submit credit proposals with sound judgment to the credit department.
  • Manage the progress of assigned cases, ensuring timely completion while supervising and guiding junior staff.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and business partners to support sustainable business growth.
  • Monitor the performance of existing clients and support collection activities as needed.
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and contribute to the enhancement of product offerings.
  • Develop and execute action plans to achieve targets in terms of revenue, profitability, and client acquisition.
  • Prepare regular reports and provide insights to management to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
MUST TO HAVE:

Diploma/Degree in any field

PREFER TO HAVE (Advantage):

Working hour: Monday to Friday 8:45am-5:30pm
