Job description
Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements for the Group in compliance with MFRS.
  • Coordinate with finance teams at subsidiary level for reporting submissions, variance explanations and supporting schedules.
  • Assist with consolidation journals including intercompany elimination, foreign currency translation, and fair value adjustments.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes at group level.
  • Prepare management reports and analysis for senior management/Board presentations.
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors to facilitate timely audit completion.
  • Ensure adherence to relevant accounting standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Preparation and review of the yearly audited financial statement.
  • Assist with tax computations for corporate income tax, deferred tax analysis and recognition.
  • Oversee submission of tax filings (Tax Com SST, WHT, CP204, etc.) for group entities.
  • Monitor tax payments, deadlines, and manage compliance calendars.
  • Support tax planning activities, including incentives, transfer pricing requirements, and queries from tax authorities.
  • Provide technical support on tax matters to business units where required.
  • Support in the ESG compliance and reporting.
  • Assist in ad-hoc corporate exercises such as cash flow projection, group restructurings, due diligence, acquisitions, etc.
  • Guide junior finance team members where necessary.
  • Work closely with Finance Manager and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless reporting and compliance workflow.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent certification preferred.
