Job summary

A leading public-listed manufacturer in Puchong is seeking an experienced Assistant Finance Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing financial reports, managing ledger accounting, and ensuring compliance with tax obligations. A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and at least 5 years of relevant experience is required. Proficiency in ERP systems is preferred. Job description
Company Background:

We are representing a leading public-listedmanufacturer and supplier of various steel products,looking foran Assistant Finance Managerto be based in Puchong, Selangor.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports within the dateline
  • Budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Perform financial analysis to support business decision-making
  • Oversee and manage general ledger accounting activities and accurate and timely recording of financial transactions
  • Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and intercompany transactions
  • Ensure AP/AR processes are complied and ensure timely settlements
  • Ensure timely submission of tax filings (e.g., Kastam, SST and corporate tax)
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and company secretary
  • Coordinate and support external and internal audits
  • Recommend and implement improvements to financial systems and workflow
  • Participate in system upgrades or transitions (e.g., new accounting system implementation)
  • Guide and support junior finance staff in their tasks and development
Job Requirements:
  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Accountingor related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experiencein accounts and finance, preferably in manufacturing related industry
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications (e.g., ERP systems, MS Office)

Working hours : Mon - Fri (8.30am - 6.00pm)
