To provide administrative, coordination, and operational support to the Prosecution Department in managing case files, facilitating legal processes, preparing documentation, and ensuring the smooth execution of prosecution-related activities in accordance with organisational policies, legal requirements, and regulatory standards.
Job Responsibilities
- Case Management & Documentation
- Assist in organising, maintaining, and updating prosecution case files and records.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper filing of all documents related to criminal, regulatory, or administrative cases.
- Prepare, compile, and format letters, reports, investigation papers, and other legal documents for prosecution processes.
- Track deadlines for submissions, hearings, and internal reviews to ensure timely action.
- Coordinate with internal units such as Investigation, Legal, Enforcement, and other relevant departments regarding case updates and required documents.
- Liaise with external stakeholders including law firms, government agencies, and courts for scheduling, document submission, and follow-up matters.
- Support communication flow between officers, external parties, and management to ensure smooth case progression.
- Administrative & Operational Support
- Provide logistical and administrative support for meetings, briefings, and court preparations.
- Maintain departmental trackers, databases, and monitoring reports for prosecution status and case outcomes.
- Assist in preparing presentations, meeting minutes, and summaries for management review.
- Handle procurement requests, budget-related tasks, and asset/inventory management for the department (if applicable).
- Compliance & Governance
- Ensure all documentation, processes, and interactions adhere to legal standards, confidentiality requirements, and internal governance procedures.
- Support compliance with regulatory frameworks, audit requirements, and quality assurance initiatives.
- Other Duties
- Perform any other tasks assigned by the Manager/Head of Prosecution to support departmental operations and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in any relevant discipline from a reputable institution with a minimum CGPA of 3.00.
