Job summary

A manufacturing company in Johor Bahru is seeking a skilled engineer to perform maintenance and repairs on jigs and fixtures. Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair of jigs and fixtures.
• Generate standard time for new models.
• Carry out process evaluation when required.
• Update standard time due to process changes.
• Work closely with other departments to resolve process-related issues.

Job description

To perform maintenance and repairing of jigs and fixtures on the productionfloor.

To generate standard time for any new model.

To carry out process evaluation when required.

Maintain and update standard time due to the change of process.

To generate loading base on the BOM given.

Work closely with other department as to resolve all process related issue,

Generate pwi base on Engineering sample, BOM, Engineering specification and QC criteria.

Co-ordinate the standard time with planning department and production department.

Produce the time study and costing of product upon requested.

Proper recording and filing of auditable documents.

Provide full support on new product trial run.

To audit in-charged products on daily basis.

B. Duties and responsibilities

To carry out job as instructed by supervisor.

To assist other department when there is a need.

To ensure good house keeping and always aware of safety requirement.

To fabricate jig and fixture when there is a need to improve the processes.

To keep track on all the jigs and fixtures.

Ensure lines are well balance.

Raise part requisition form for any particular job or services.

Liaise with vendor / supplier / customer when there is a need.

Attend product meeting and quality meeting when require.

Liaise with purchasing department on item requested

Conduct training for new operator from production.

C. Qualification and requiremen t
