A premier e-commerce leader located in Shah Alam, Malaysia is seeking an experienced E-Commerce Manager. This role involves overseeing daily operations across various B2C platforms, leading marketing campaigns, and driving sales performance. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years in e-commerce management, particularly in EU/UK markets. With a dedicated in-house design team, they have built a strong global presence by offering stylish, functional, and high-quality furniture solutions. Over the years, they have successfully transitioned to a cross-border e-commerce business model, selling directly to consumers in Europe, the USA, and Southeast Asia through major online platforms such as Lazada, Shopee, and Amazon.
Key Responsibilities
1. Multi-Channel Marketplace Operations
Manage daily operations of B2C platforms (e.g., JD.com, Aosom, C-discount, Otto, etc.) for the EU/UK markets.
Ensure smooth execution of product listings, pricing, stock availability, and order fulfilment.
Develop and implement platform-specific strategies to maximize visibility, sales, and profitability.
2. Promotions & Commercial Strategy
Lead planning and execution of seasonal campaigns, promotions, and sales initiatives.
Set competitive pricing strategies aligned with market trends and business objectives.
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to drive traffic and boost sales performance.
3. Cross-Functional Coordination
Act as the primary liaison with the China-based operations team for order management, stock planning, and campaigns.
Maintain strong relationships with platform account managers, logistics partners, and external service providers.
Resolve operational issues efficiently to ensure alignment with overall market goals.
4. Content Development & Brand Representation
Partner with design and content teams to create engaging product pages, visuals, and marketing materials.
Ensure brand consistency and optimize content based on platform requirements and customer insights.
5. Market Intelligence & Performance Tracking
Monitor sales trends, platform analytics, and advertising performance.
Conduct competitor research to identify new opportunities and potential threats.
Provide reports and data-driven recommendations to management for strategic decision-making.
6. Team Collaboration & Leadership
Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams (design, operations, content, and marketing).
Promote a collaborative, results-driven work culture.
Support strategic planning sessions by contributing insights on market dynamics and growth strategies.
