A corporate secretarial services provider in Malaysia is looking for an Assistant Company Secretary. The role involves preparing resolutions, assisting in meetings, and ensuring compliance with statutory regulations. Candidates should hold a CGI qualification or equivalent, and fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Proficiency in English, Malay, and Mandarin is essential. Prepare resolutions, minutes, statutory forms, announcements, etc.
Assist during Board and Shareholders’ meetings.
Assist to lodge documents with Companies Commission of Malaysia and any other relevant authorities.
Monitor and comply with submission deadlines.
Maintain and update the statutory books and records in compliance with the Companies Act 2016.
Advise on and ensure clients’ compliance with the Companies Act 2016, the Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad, Malaysian Code on Corporate Governance and other relevant statutory requirements.
