Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in Shah Alam is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee finance functions for its subsidiaries. This role involves performing financial analysis, managing credit control, and ensuring statutory compliance. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, at least 3 years of relevant experience, and strong leadership skills. Additional skills in accounting standards, tax knowledge, and organizational abilities are essential. Occasional travel may be required for on-site tasks.

Job description
  • Reports to Finance Manager and will be responsible to handle a full spectrum of finance functions for the subsidiaries
  • Perform financial analysis to highlight areas for improvement, variance to Management
  • Manages credit control and follow-up on customer-due accounts
  • Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities
  • Supervise and guide subordinates in their respective job functions (such as financial reporting account receivables, account payables, costing, fixed assets, and banking) to ensure smooth operation
  • Responsible for statutory compliance such as auditor reports, company tax rerun, sales returns, and transfer pricing documentation
  • To assist in all respects accounting functions, budget, and ad-hoc projects as assigned.
  • Able to interact and liaise with auditors, tax agents, insurance agents, and regulators, ensuring timely submission of annual statutory audits, corporate tax, income tax, and SST filings.
Job Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Professional Qualification
  • Industrial Background Preferred: Min 3 years’ experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Industrial Background Preferred: At least 2 years of working experience in the manufacturing field
  • Required skills: Accounting Standard and Tax knowledge
  • Able to work independently to meet tight deadlines, have a sense of urgency and highly organized.
  • Strong leadership skills, proactive and result-oriented.
  • Candidate must will to travel (ad-hoc basis to Bandar Enstek/ Batu Pahat/Kalimantan /etc)
