Job summary

A leading finance firm in Johor, Malaysia is seeking an AR Account Executive to handle account receivables, assist in financial statements preparation, and ensure compliance with standards. Ideal candidates should possess a diploma in finance/accountancy and have 2-3 years of experience. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. A good command of English, Chinese, and Bahasa Malaysia is required. Proficiency in MS Excel and knowledge of UBS accounting software is advantageous.

AR Account Executive / Account Officer, Finance

• Responsible for handling Account Receivable.
• Assist Assistant Manager and/or Snr. Account Executive in the preparation of financial statements.
• Able to communicate and work closely with other team members and relevant parties.
• Assist in dealing with auditor for interim and final audit.
• Assist in preparing documents related to year-end audit.
• To ensure compliance with accounting standard & company policies.
• Any other task as and when assigned by superior from time to time.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Possess at least a Diploma in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
• Fresh graduate is encouraged to apply.
• At least 2-3 years of relevant working experience in relevant field is required for Account Executive role; candidate with audit experience or public listed company working experience will be an added advantage.
• MS Excel skills (mid to advanced level).
• Knowledge with UBS accounting software and Epicor is a plus.
• Good command of spoken and written English, Chinese and Bahasa Malaysia.
