Job Summary

As a Junior Application Maintenance/Production Support Engineer in the GIPS – SBE Build sub-domain, you will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining enterprise applications running on RHEL, JBoss, WebLogic, MQ, and Kafka. You will support incident resolution, performance optimization, and system stability while ensuring minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and support Linux-based applications on RHEL, JBoss, WebLogic, MQ, and Kafka.
  • Troubleshoot application, middleware, and database issues in Oracle/MySQL.
  • Perform incident management, root cause analysis, and system recovery.
  • Optimize Unix scripts and SQL queries for improved performance.
  • Support deployment and patching activities for middleware and applications.
  • Work closely with development and infrastructure teams to resolve issues.
  • Ensure system health, security, and compliance with company standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience in application maintenance and production support.
  • Proficiency in Unix shell scripting, SQL, and troubleshooting Linux-based middleware.
  • Hands‑on experience with JBoss, WebLogic, MQ, and Kafka.
  • Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
  • Understanding of incident management, change management, and system monitoring.
