Qualifications

• Minimum 3-4 years of experience in Liquid Chromatography, Mass Spec, and analytical instruments.
• Experiences in Pharma and Food industry would be an added advantage.
• Willingness to travel is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultancy and technical support in pre- and post-sales environment.
• Collaborate with Account Managers on customer analysis.
• Conduct instrument demonstrations and expert customer advice.
• Manage demo instrument inventory for customer trials.
• Perform system training and technical support post-installation.

Job description

The candidate will be required to have knowledge and experience about HPLC and Chromatography Data Software (CDS). He/She should have the desire to contribute to the customers’ success by helping them to solve their analytical challenges and deliver knowledge to customers and sales team. He/She will be required to collaborate with Sales/Marketing Forces.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Business partners and Field Sales operations to provide credible and impartial consultancy and technical sponsor in a fast paced pre- and post sales environment.
• Collaborate with the team of Account Managers in diagnosing the customer’s requirements, and design analysis that showcase the better capabilities of Waters product portfolio in line with the customers’ goals.
• Perform instrument demonstrations and provide expert advice to customers during the sales process, focusing on how Waters system solutions will address and benefit the customer’s needs.
• Ensure that the equipment, analysis and customer demonstrations are properly prepared, in order to guarantee the highest level of customer experience in a timely manner.
• Perform system and application training as well as technical support to customers after the product installation. Offer product expert guidance and troubleshooting to customers.
• Malaysia Solution Center demo instrument inventory management, ensuring readiness for customer demonstrations and trials.

Requirements

• Position base in Waters Malaysia, Shah Alam.
• Degree / Masters Degree in chemistry, or related Sciences.
• Minimum 3-4 years of experience in Liquid Chromatography, Mass Spec and analytical instrument
• Experiences in Pharma and Food industry would be an added advantage.
• Experiences in Empower CDS and mass spectrometers will have added advantage.
• A team player with good communication and presentation skills.
• Highly organized / well-prepared / time management skills. Matured disposition, positive attitude and strong sense of dedication.
• Willingness to travel.
