Job description

We are looking for an experienced Corporate Finance professional ideally with an investment banking or merchant banking background to lead strategic transactions, fundraising, financial modelling, and deal execution for the Group. This role will play a key part in driving growth through acquisitions, divestments, capital market exercises, and long-term strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end execution of M&A deals, including screening, valuation, negotiations, due diligence, structuring, documentation and closure.

Evaluate strategic opportunities across new markets, partnerships, and investments.

Coordinate advisors, legal counsel, bankers, and internal stakeholders throughout the deal cycle.

Prepare investment papers, board proposals, feasibility studies, and transaction memos.

Build and review complex financial models (DCF, LBO, merger models, sensitivity analysis).

Perform valuation work across multiple methodologies (market comps, precedent transactions, NAV, earnings multiples).

Stress-test financial outcomes and provide scenario planning for decision-makers.

3. Capital Raising & Funding Strategy

Support or lead equity and debt fundraising activities (bank financing, bonds, private placements, etc.).

Engage with banks, rating agencies, investors and financial institutions.

Assess the Group’s capital structure and recommend optimisation strategies.

4. Strategy, Analysis & Corporate Planning

Support group-level strategy, long-term planning and investment roadmap.

Assess business performance and analyse new business models, markets and expansion ideas.

Work closely with senior management on financial strategy, deal prioritisation, and investment direction.

5. Governance, Documentation & Stakeholder Management

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for corporate finance activities.

Prepare high-quality reports and presentations for Board, Exco, shareholders and lenders.

Manage relationships with external parties: IBs, merchant banks, consultants, auditors and regulators.

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.

Professional qualifications (CFA/ICA/AICPA/ACCA) are an advantage.

8–12+ years experience in corporate finance, investment banking, M&A advisory, merchant banking or transaction services.

Proven track record in executing deals, fundraising, and financial modelling.

Strong analytical capability with excellent commercial sense.

Comfortable working in fast‑paced, high‑stakes environments.

Strong presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
