Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting or equivalent required.
• Professional Qualification in Accounting (e.g., ACCA, MIA) is advantageous.
• 3-5 years of experience in accounts payable or related matters.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards (MFRS/IFRS).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Analytical, proactive, able to work in teams and independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of accounting functions for Fertilizers business.
• Assist in divisional and statutory reporting.
• Prepare and submit monthly management and quarterly reports.
• Process accounts payable including verifying and posting transactions.
• Conduct bank and creditor reconciliation, addressing discrepancies.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors, providing necessary records.
• Execute ad-hoc assignments from superiors.
