Job summary

A property management company in Petaling Jaya is seeking an Accounts Executive to manage tenant invoicing, financial reporting, and compliance auditing. This role requires a minimum of a degree in Accountancy and 2-3 years of experience in the malls or retail industry. Strong communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin are essential. You will report to the Accounts & Administration Manager and work within a team focused on financial operations.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years experience in malls/retail industry is required.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and issue invoices to tenants for rent, utilities and other charges.
  • Record and monitor payments, collection and deposits.
  • Maintain and update accounting records and files.
  • Track and compile monthly sales reports from retail tenants.
  • Assist in preparing monthly and yearly reports.
  • Handle petty cash and expense reimbursements.
  • Support audits and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Coordinate with tenants and internal teams on billing/payment matters.

Skills

  • Job location: Kelana Jaya (5 working-day week), Petaling Jaya.

Our corporate client is a property/mall management company. Currently they are looking for an accounting qualified professional who can hit the ground running and be focus on producing their management accounts. This role will be based at their new corporate office at Kelana Jaya in Petaling Jaya.

Reporting to the Accounts & Administration Manager, you will be responsible for providing support to key functions within the business. In this varied role, you will have exposure to financial and management accounting and treasury functions besides the administrative activities.

Roles & Duties
