Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking an Accounts Executive - Retail in Kuala Lumpur. About the job Accounts Executive - Retail

Job Description:

  • Perform full-sets of Accounts including preparation of Journal Entries and reconciliation.
  • Responsible for managing all facets of the accounting matters of the company, including month end or year-end closing process, financial statement preparation, audits, process management, and compliance to accounting, tax & other guidelines.
  • Prepare and review financial statements and reports for accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Perform monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities and reconciliations of accounts.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable functions and ensure timely payments and collections.
  • Manage cash flow, prepare budget & forecast report
  • Involve in Payroll calculation and submission (about 10 to 14 headcount)
  • Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents and other stakeholders for audit and tax matters.
  • Ensure proper accounting records and documentation in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Handle ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned by management.

Job Requirements:

  • Able to converse fluently in Mandarin.
  • 3-4 years of experience specialized in finance or equivalent.
  • Possess at least a Diploma / Degree in Accountancy or equivalent accounting qualification.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and other MS office applications.
  • Good organizational and communication skills.
  • Meticulous, hands-on and good team player.
  • Independent, meticulous with analytical mind.

Remuneration: Up to MYR 4,500 (Basic) + MYR 500 (Fixed Allowance) = MYR 5,000
