Qualifications

  • Proficient in Bahasa Melayu, English, and Mandarin.

Job description

This position assists in the daily accounting operations for Verrona Bake. You will handle data entry, AP, processing, inventory, bank reconciliations and support the Senior Accounts Executive and Finance Manager in monthly closings and ad-hoc tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle data entry, issue invoices/receipts and prepare payment vouchers.
  • Handle AP processing, bank reconciliations and petty cash claims.
  • Maintain proper filing of accounting documents and records.
  • Support month‑closing, reporting and SST submissions.
  • Liaise with suppliers, customers and banks as needed.
  • Perform ad‑hoc duties assigned by Senior Accounts Executive or Finance Manager.
  • Other ad‑hoc projects, duties and responsibilities as required by management.
Requirements
  • Diploma/Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1‑2 years’ experience in accounting, preferably in retail or F&B.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced business environment.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
  • Good understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting skills as well as attention to detail.
  • Excellent in accounting software (especially in Autocount) and computer applications (Microsoft Words, Excel).
  • Language required (S): Bahasa Melayu, English, and Mandarin. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin‑speaking clients.
  • Possess own transport.
