Job summary

A leading accounting firm in Shah Alam, Malaysia, is seeking an accountant to handle the full set of accounts and perform month-end closing accurately. The ideal candidate will prepare bank reconciliations, assist in audit activities, and manage various accounting duties. A Diploma with LCCI or a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance is required. This role demands strong analytical and interpersonal skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office. Job description

Handle the full set of accounts and perform month-end closing in a timely and accurate manner.

Prepare bank reconciliations, monitor daily bank balances, and update the cash book accordingly.

Prepare monthly management reports and manage other accounting-related matters as required.

Assist in audit activities and tax preparation by providing accurate documentation and reports.

Perform day-to-day accounting operations, including data entry, invoice processing, and payment preparation.

Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assigned from time to time.
