Job summary

A professional recruitment agency in Shah Alam is looking for an Accounts Assistant to support the Accounts Manager in maintaining financial records, payroll preparation, and compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate should have a Diploma in Accounting or Finance and at least 2-3 years of relevant experience. Familiarity with accounting software is an advantage. Company Background:Specializing in the processing of fresh-cut fruits and vegetables for the retail and foodservice sectors

Working days: Mon - Fri (8:30am - 6pm)

Work Location: Shah Alam, Sec 33

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Accounts Manager in preparing and maintaining full sets of accounts (AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliation, journals).
  • Prepare monthly payroll and related statutory contributions using Payroll Software.
  • Handle invoices, payments, receipts, and ensure timely settlement of accounts.
  • Monitor and managing e-invoicing
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and statutory requirements.
  • Support other ad-hoc finance and administrative tasks assigned by the Accounts Manager.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 2 -3 years of working experience in accounting, preferably in the manufacturing or trading industry.
  • Knowledge of accounting software (Autocount) is an added advantage.
  • Good understanding of accounting principles and practices, and also e-invoicing.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines.
