A reputable manufacturing company located in Malaysia is seeking an accounting professional to assist in preparing full sets of accounts and monthly management reports under tight deadlines. Applicants should have 2-3 years of relevant experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment, as well as a degree in Accountancy. Proficiency in Excel and knowledge of ERP systems is preferred. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. The role is based in Bukit Angkat, Kajang.
Assist to prepare full set of accounts and monthly management accounts within tight deadlines
Prepare monthly journal voucher, debit note and credit note related to general accounting
Efficient maintaining company cash book under General Ledger
Prepare statutory payment and other monthly payment before due date
Prepare monthly sales tax report and payment submission
Prepare monthly staff reimbursement, staff claims, petty cash and salary data entry
Prepare company fixed assets register and always maintain the updated fixed assets register
Review weekly GRN reporting and take necessary action for wrong GL class code selected by requestors
Assist in handling company tax computation, deferred tax and filing of annual tax return
Prepare the financial year end report and schedules in order to reconcile the figures in financial year end management accounts and also for field audit purposes
Assist in coordinating the yearly audit exercises and prepare the Audited Financial Statement
To assist in other accounting functions of the group as and when required and any other relevant duties assigned by superior
