A notable company in Kuala Lumpur seeks an Accounting Assistant to manage financial transactions, assist in monthly reports, and handle accounts receivable and payable. Candidates must have at least SPM with relevant qualifications like LCCI or a Diploma in Finance. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience in accounting or audit are preferred. This role will involve liaising with auditors and managing financial records.
To input bank/accounting/journal entry transactions into accounting software.
To assist in preparing monthly Management Reports and supporting schedules, i.e. Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Trial Balance, and Cash Flow Reports.
Account Receivable - To prepare invoices, issue official receipts, debit note and credit note.
Account Payable - To issue payment vouchers and cheques and arrange for signatories.
General Ledger - To maintain updated general ledger record.
Prepare tax information analysis and assist in compiling the information for transfer pricing.
Liaison with external auditors, bankers and tax agents.
Filing of accounting records.
To perform any other ad hoc duties when needed.
