Job summary

A reputable marketing company based in Shah Alam, Malaysia is seeking an Accounting Assistant to handle day-to-day accounting operations including data entry, managing accounts payable and receivable, and preparing sales orders and invoices. Candidates should have a Diploma in Accounting or related field with 1-2 years of experience, be familiar with computerized accounting systems, and possess a good working attitude. Immediate availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in the related field.
• Able to work independently and self-motivated.
• Available to start immediately.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting operations and data entry.
• Prepare sales orders, invoices, and process claims.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.

Job description

• Day to day accounting operation activities and functions such as data entry accounting system.
• To handle Account payable / Account receivable, statement and other accounting functions.
• Prepare Sales Order and Invoices for sales.
• Process claims and reimbursements.
• Key in stock entry.
• Prepare schedules including Inter-Company billing, handling foreign currency remittances, accruals and adjustments.
• Perform monthly creditors andbankreconciliation and resolve discrepancies if any.
• Assist in any Ad-hoc duties.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Accounting/Finance/Commerce or LCCI Certificate
• 1 - 2 years of working experience in the related field.
• Familiar with computerized accounting system.
• Independent, self-motivated and with good working attitude.
• Able to start work immediately.
