An accounting firm in Penang is seeking a detail-oriented candidate to manage daily collections, update payment vouchers, and prepare business expenses. The position requires a diploma or degree in Accounting/Finance, along with 3 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is essential. Candidates who are responsible and able to work independently are encouraged to apply, including retirees. This role offers a 5.5-day work week.
1) Update Daily Collection in Spread sheet.
2) Printing relevant documents (Banking Documents; Payment & Receipt Voucher & others)
3) Update Receipt & Payment Voucher into system with correct description; accounting codes & department costs)
4) Preparing business related expenses listing such as travel, entertainment, company purchases & others
6) Preparing bank online payments
7) Other assigned jobs as and when required,
Requirement:
Diploma or Degree in Accounting / Finance
3 years of relevant experience in similar environment
Good accounting knowledge and with audit experience would be added advantage
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Especially Excel)
Responsible, detail oriented, and able to work independently
Willingness to work 5 and 1/2 days work week.
