Job description

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Accounts and Admin Executive/Manager to join our team at AUTOMATED LAB SDN. BHD. in Johor Bahru, Johor. This is a full-time role that will play a pivotal part in ensuring the smooth financial and administrative operations of our company.

What you'll be doing
  • Preparing and maintaining accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and monthly reporting for Singapore Office. Must be familiar with Singapore accounting practices and have previously handled Singapore’s accounts. This position is based in JB.
  • Providing administrative support to the finance and operations teams, ensuring efficient workflows and document management.
  • Assisting with payroll processing and HR-related tasks.
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders such as clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing efficient systems and controls.
  • Adhering to all relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
  • Able to prepare year‑end financial accounts and reports.
  • Managing office administration.
What we're looking for
  • Minimum 2‑5 years of experience in a similar accounts and administration role, preferably within the manufacturing or industrial sector.
  • Strong proficiency in accounting software, spreadsheets, and other relevant business applications.
  • Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
  • Relevant degree or professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) would be an advantage.
  • Person must be able to travel.
  • Hybrid arrangement of 2‑3 days in office.
