Job Description

As an Accounting Administrator, you will manage client databases, prepare invoices, handle compliance tasks, and provide administrative support across accounting operations to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and client satisfaction.

The Qualifications We Seek

Experience

  • 1-2 years of relevant prior experience
  • Prior experience using MYOB AE (Accountants Enterprise) and Xero
  • Prior experience using the ATO Portal
  • Background in administration within an accounting environment
  • Proficiency in Word and Excel for creating and formatting content
  • Experience with ASIC Company Secretarial requirements

Your Daily Tasks

General Tasks

  • Maintain MYOB and Xero client database
  • Liaise with Directors, Accountants, and ATO
  • Type letters and reports as required
  • Prepare and issue invoices, billings, and disbursements
  • Use ATO and ABR Portal for lodgments and queries
  • Collate client EOY jobs
  • Liaise with ASIC for business name registration, updates, and cancellations
  • Set up and update Company, Trust, and Self-Managed Superannuation Fund structures
  • Perform other duties as reasonably directed by the manager
  • Manage client off-boarding
