Job description

We are a Malaysia Digital (MD)–status tech development company with a growing group of entities across multiple ecosystems. We are hiring an Accountant based in Kuala Lumpur / Selangor to manage a full set of accounts, including multi‑company and multi‑currency operations with minimal supervision.

This role suits candidates with experience in SME, startup, or group company environments who are looking for long‑term growth and stability.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle a full set of accounts (AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliations)
• Manage multi‑company accounting and foreign currency transactions
• Perform monthly closing, management reporting, and year‑end accounts
• Prepare financial statements in accordance with MFRS
• Support budgeting, cash flow planning, and cost control
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and company secretaries
• Ensure timely compliance with statutory and audit requirements
• Improve accounting workflows and internal controls

Job Requirements

• Minimum 4 years working experience as an Accountant / Accounts Executive (Full Set)
• Strong hands‑on experience with a full set of accounts
• Experience handling audit preparation and auditor queries
• Familiar with multi‑company group structures
• Experience with multi‑currency transactions is highly preferred
• Knowledge of Malaysia accounting standards (MFRS)
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Well‑organized, deadline‑driven, and detail‑oriented
• Good communication skills and professional working attitude
• Willing to grow into a Senior / Group Accountant role

Education & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance / Professional Accounting
• ACCA / CPA / CIMA or equivalent is an advantage
