Job description

We are seeking a meticulous and highly skilled Accountant to join our finance team at ACO Holdings Sdn Bhd, Kawasan Perindustrian Tebrau 4, Johor Bahru. This is a critical role where you will be at the heart of our group's financial integrity and regulatory adherence.

You will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our group financial consolidation and your expertise will be pivotal in providing reliable financial information to senior management and stakeholders, directly supporting the company's transparency and corporate governance.

What You'll Be Doing

• Prepare monthly consolidation and the quartertly report.
• Coordinate with subsidiaries for timely reporting and submission of financial data.
• Review subsidiaries’ taxation and deferred tax to ensure timely submission of tax computations.
• Review the Group reporting package and financial analysis.
• Ensure proper elimination of intercompany transactions and balances.
• Assist in preparing materials for Board of Directors and Board Committee meetings, including financial reports, circulars, and papers.
• Work closely with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance.
• Ensure all disclosures are accurate, consistent, and aligned with IFRS/MFRS and Bursa regulations.
• Led and guided junior staff to ensure performance and growth aligned with team goals.
• Carry out any other ad-hoc duties or tasks assigned by superiors or management as needed.

• Strong command of Microsoft Excel, financial reporting tools, and consolidation software.
• Knowledge of corporate taxation, statutory submissions, and regulatory deadlines.
