Key Responsibilities
This position requires managing clients' portfolios with the objective of maintaining and growing the business through effective account management and end-to-end planning. Develop new key accounts to increase market share.
Job Summary
- Manage and retain high profile contracts and a set of client accounts assigned, consistently identify and develop sustainable business opportunities.
- Manage assigned government ministries, agencies and state government accounts concurrently & long-term.
- Identify key accounts by analyzing their current growth, strategic importance and future potential.
- Establish a detailed account plan with respective segment accounts assigned and consistently deliver results.
- Establish solid client relationships & build strategies and engagement plans to maximize Awantec relationships within ministries and agencies to ultimately deliver value to customers, including mapping decision makers & influencers in ministries, agencies and state government agencies and driving deep and win –win relationships .
- Pitch & communicate Awantec cloud solutions to deliver sales performance to monetize Awantec revenue potential in Government accounts (which has been assigned by Awantec). Ensure consistent communications with clients on Awantec latest offerings, solutions and technology updates.
- Prepare quotations and manage the negotiation process of contracts and agreements with clients.
- Leveraging world class sales planning tools to optimize the sales of cloud solutions which will include ensuring account plans & opportunity roadmaps, while leveraging Customer Relationship Management tools such as Salesforce, CRM Sage for sales planning.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (presales, product-GWS, GCP, marketing, other partner’s product & solutions, change management services, legal etc.) in deal engagement & closure, and ultimately orchestrate communication and collaboration between cross functional within Awantec teams and customers.
- Identify and develop strategic alignment with key decision makers
- Deliver budgeted revenues and target
- Accelerate customer adoption.
- Customer first and positive attitude when handling challenges.
- Plan, organize & execute sales initiatives; events, roadshows, courtesy visits, etc
- Any other roles and tasks related and required as and when needed.
Qualification
- Degree in relevant field from an accredited university or equivalent
Desired Experience
- Tertiary education in relevant field of study
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience in technology sales
- Passion for selling cloud-based solutions or related products
- Candidate with experience in SI will be highly considered
- Results orientated as demonstrated by a track record of aggressively growing businesses and meeting targets.
- Experience in liaising or managing partners, ideally MSPs, CSPs
Special skills required
- Able to articulate cloud technology concepts to cross functional audiences with strong presentation skills.
- Able to engage and deal with government clients from different levels
- Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.
- Great knowledge about cloud, ICT, product and solutions.
- Dynamic builder of relationships with key customers and operations.
