- Handle full sets of accounts efficiently, accurately and on a timely manner but not limited to:
- Maintain general ledger by compiling, analyzing account information and recording asset, liability, revenue, and expenses transaction.
- Maintain and balance intercompany accounts by verifying, reconciling transactions, and resolving discrepancies.
- Summarize financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other financial reports.
- Proper filling system and documentation.
- Liaise with external authorities (auditors, bankers, tax agents and respective government authorities where required).
- Ensure compliance with all internal processes.
- Perform other duties as and when delegated i.e. back up function, business process improvement initiatives and ad-hoc projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant.
- Possess professional accounting certificate is an advantage (eg. LCCI, ACCA etc).
- Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Tax working experience will be an advantage.
- Familiarity with financial accounting statements.
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Team player, proactive, good attitude, has a good sense of responsibility and ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills.
