Job summary

A financial services company in Negeri Sembilan is seeking an Account Executive / Senior Account Executive to manage accounting functions, assist in financial reporting, and evaluate processes for efficiency. Candidates should possess a diploma or degree in accountancy, with 1-2 years of experience in accounts closing. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are required. The salary package will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Manager in finance and accounting functions.
  • Ensure all accounts payable and receivable are processed timely.
  • Prepare management reporting and analyze financial results.
  • Evaluate and recommend improvements for accounting processes.
  • Carry out ad-hoc duties assigned by management.

Job description
ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE / SENIOR ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
  1. To assist Manager – Accounts & Finance in handling finance and accounting functions of the Company, including accounts closing, cash flow, audit and taxation.
  2. To check and ensure all AP and AR are processed timely and accurately.
  3. Actively involve in the preparation of management reporting and analysis of financial results. Highlight the cost irregularities or variances and recommend for cost improvement activities.
  4. To evaluate workflow processes/procedures and recommend changes to improve accuracy and efficiency of accounting functions.
  5. To carry out ad-hoc duties assigned by the management from time to time.
Requirements
  1. Candidates must possess diploma or degree in accountancy or equivalent.
  2. Preferably, at least 1 ~ 2 years of accounts closing experience.
  3. Good written and verbal communication skills
  4. Meticulous with good analytical & problem-solving skills
