About the job Account Executive | Iskandar Puteri

Company Background:

Our client established in Malaysia, specializes in the assembly and production of photoelectric products. Their primary offerings include laser diode modules, red dot sights, laser measuring and positioning devices, and laser aiming devices. Additionally, the company manufactures core components for laser instruments and tools, such as optical lenses, PCB boards, and precision-machined parts.

Job Description:

  • Handle full set of accounts
  • To perform day to day accounting functions such as updating of data into accounting system.
  • Filing of Sales and Service Tax (SST)
  • Handle AR & AP (Account Receivable & Account Payable)
  • To verify and prepare payments to suppliers, vendors, staff claims, petty cash reimbursements.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders including auditors, tax agents, bankers, secretaries, and government agencies.
  • Maintain monthly record listing of accruals, prepayments, and fixed assets.
  • Ensure timely processing of payment.
  • Updating bank balances and prepare bank reconciliation.
  • To ensure accounting records are properly maintained and reconciled.
  • Ensure all filing is done in a timely and accurate manner
  • Maintain filing records and proper documents control.
  • To carry out any other related duties as required from time to time
  • Assist in ad-hoc assignments as required by the management.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree/diploma in accounting /finance or related major
  • More than 3 years Finance/accounting
  • Good at English and MS office.
  • Result and detail orientated.
  • Structured approach to work
  • Flexibility in work tasks
  • Fluency in Mandarin is preferred for this role as it involves regular interactions with Mandarin-speaking clients.
