Job summary

A leading battery manufacturing company in Shah Alam is looking for an Accounting Staff to handle full set of accounts and perform monthly reconciliations. The ideal candidate should possess a Diploma or Degree in Accounting and have 1-2 years of experience, although fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin is an advantage.   • Minimum education requirement: Diploma, LCCI Certificates, or a Degree in Accounting.
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
  • Able to converse in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin (an added advantage).
  • Aggressive, committed, and motivated to work.
  • Possesses a positive attitude and a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Good personality, responsible, self-disciplined, and dedicated to work.
  • Able to start immediately or within a short notice period.
  • Willing to travel outstation.

Responsibility
  • Handle full set of accounts: AP, AR, and G/L.
  • Handle SAP/B1 accounting system.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliation, monthly analysis, daily cheque issuance, daily collection, and daily payments.
  • Submit management reports as per deadline.
  • Update monthly ageing reports.
  • Assist superiors as and when required.
  • Perform any other ad-hoc assignments as assigned.
  • Handle day-to-day accounting operations, record keeping, and filing.
