About the role: Join WSECO as an Account Executive based in Perai, Penang. This full-time position is an exciting opportunity to work for a leading accounting firm, contributing to the financial operations and success of the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and validate accounting entries, systems, and financial procedures
• Assist senior team members in day-to-day accounting tasks, SST data entries, and preparation of audit-related documents as per required standards
• Review and evaluate policies and processes involved in tax reporting
• Develop and manage budgets, financial statements, balance sheets, and other financial reports
• Ensure accuracy in accounts receivable and payable listings
• Maintain systematic filing and documentation of accounting records

What we're looking for

• Must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Finance / Accountancy or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of working experience in Accounting or related functions
• Candidates pursuing ACCA / professional certifications are encouraged to apply
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
• Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office applications
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• A team player with the ability to work independently
