Job summary

A cooperative in Malaysia is seeking an experienced accounting professional to reconcile accounting activities, support financial closing, and liaise with auditors and tax agents. Responsibilities include preparing the company’s budget, analyzing financial results, ensuring timely AP and AR processing, and delivering management reports. Candidates should have a strong understanding of financial practices and be able to handle ad hoc assignments as required.

Responsibilities

• Reconciles the department's accounting activities to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Supports month-end, quarterly and year-end financial closing and reporting.
• Liaises with auditors, tax agents, company secretary, government authorities and bankers.
• Analyzes financial results and prepares monthly management reporting.
• Prepares the company’s budget, forecast and cash flow projection.
• Ensures all AP and AR are processed timely and accurately.
• Prepares a stock aging report.
• Performs other ad hoc assignments as and when required.
