Job summary

A leading manufacturing company located in Malaysia, Kedah, is seeking an experienced finance professional to manage the full set of accounts including accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and month-end closing. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements and management reports, monitoring budgeting and cost control, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Candidates should possess a degree in accounting or finance and have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

Job description

Handle full set of accounts including AP, AR, GL and month-end closing.

Perform cost accounting, inventory valuation and production cost analysis.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations and internal policies.

Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks and other external parties.

Support process improvement and implement financial controls to enhance efficiency.

Assist in cash flow management, payments processing and banking matters.

Requirements

Degree/Diploma in Accounting, Finance or related field.

Minimum 3 years finance/accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.

Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory processes and standard accounting practices.

Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SQL, SAP, Oracle) and MS Excel.

Good analytical, problem-solving and time‑management skills.

Able to work independently with high accuracy and attention to detail.
