Job summary

A recruitment agency in Malaysia is looking for an experienced financial professional. The candidate will prepare financial reports, ensure adequate cash flow, and monitor budgets and collections. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, professional certification is advantageous, and at least 5 years of experience in financial reporting. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA) is an advantage.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with full set accounts and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Tally, Oracle) is a plus.
  • Ability to prepare financial statements and reconcile accounts.
  • Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance, perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Integrity and confidentiality with financial data.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare financial report - income statement, balance sheet and trial balance.
  • Ensure adequate cash flow to meet daily operational expenses, monthly commitment, payroll, dividend payout & reserved.
  • Monitor company budget vs actual.
  • Report any unusual activities with regards to the budget.
  • Monitor inventory ordering level.
  • Monitor customer collection.
