Overview

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Account Assistant to join our dynamic team at MX FRUIT & VEGETABLE (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. in Kepong, Kuala Lumpur. As a full-time employee, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our financial records and supporting the overall accounting functions of the company.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements, including the balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statements
• Perform account reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of financial records
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing and payment processing
• Maintain and update the company's accounting books and records
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory financial reports
• Provide support to the finance team as needed, including ad-hoc projects and data analysis

Qualifications

• A diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• At least 1-2 years of experience in a similar accounting or finance role, preferably in the Bookkeeping & Small Practice Accounting industry
• Proficient in using accounting software, spreadsheets, and other financial reporting tools
• Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
