Job description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Account Assistant (Account Receivables) to join our team at Tamco Switchgear (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd in Shah Alam, Selangor. This full‑time position will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining our accounts receivable, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and payment collections.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and send invoices, official receipt and credit notes accurately and promptly.
  • Process incoming payments and apply them to customer accounts.
  • Manage and update customer account information.
  • Address customer payment inquiries and resolve billing issues.
  • Assist with month‑end closing and generate AR reports.
  • Manage accounts receivables portfolio and collect on accounts past due.
  • Investigate and resolve customer nonpayment, short payment and/or disputes.
  • Actively support and participate in digitalization and transformation processes.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
What we’re looking for
  • Bachelor’s degree with 1–2 years’ experience in Accounts Receivable or a related role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Experience with SAP is an added advantage.
  • Detail‑oriented, accurate, and organized.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
