A financial services company in Malaysia is seeking an accounting assistant to assist with daily operations, including processing invoices, maintaining accounting records, and supporting financial reporting. Fresh graduates with a diploma in Accounting or Finance are encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, proficient in Microsoft Excel, and able to work independently. This role provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a supportive environment.
Assist in handling daily accounting operations
Prepare and process invoices, payments, and receipts
Maintain proper filing of accounting documents
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable
Support month-end closing and basic reporting
Liaise with internal teams and external parties when required
Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned
Diploma or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
Basic knowledge of accounting principles
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic computer skills
Good attention to detail and organizational skills
Responsible, willing to learn, and able to work independently
