Job description

We are seeking an experienced Account Administrator to join our team at Maverick International Secondary School, Selangor. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting and administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of our organisation.

What you'll be doing

Fee Management and Reconciliation: Oversee fee collections, payments, and reconcile accounts accurately.

Procurement and Expense Control: Monitor purchase requests, manage vendor payments, and control departmental expenses.

Audit & Compliance Support: Ensure adherence to financial policies, assist in audits, and maintain proper documentation.

Reporting & Data Management: Prepare periodic financial reports, maintain accurate records, and support data-driven decision-making.

Customer Service: Provide timely support to internal stakeholders and external partners regarding financial queries.

What we're looking for

2–3 years of relevant working experience in accounting, finance, or administration.

Strong knowledge of reconciliation, procurement processes, and compliance practices.

Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office suite

Excellent organisational and time management skills

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Familiarity with accounting principles and procedures
