Responsibilities
- The candidates shall be a member of the staff of the Department of Computer Science (DCS) assigned by KICT and the candidates shall perform teaching, examining, and research duties and such other obligations as are normally required of an academic staff member of the IIUM.
- The candidates should also undertake moral and religious obligations in relation to his colleagues and students as part and parcel of his duties as a member of the academic staff of IIUM.
- As a lecturer and member of the academic staff, the candidate is required to attend any meetings related to administrative positions they may hold. This attendance is mandated by appointments made under the IIUM or through administrative directives issued by the Rector, Dean, or Head of the Kulliyyah/ Centre/ Department/ Institute/ Office/ Mahallah.
Job Requirements
- Bachelorâs Degree in Computer Science from a recognized university.
- Masterâs in Computer Science or a related field from a recognized university.
- Must be a Malaysian citizen.
- Proven teaching and research experience in a higher education setting is an added advantage.
- A blend of strong academic qualifications, teaching abilities, and research skills.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver effective education and engage students.
- Strong foundation and knowledge in computing.
