A global customer engagement company is seeking a Bilingual Oracle Database Administrator with over 8 years of experience. The ideal candidate will manage RMAN backups, perform upgrades from Oracle 11g to 19c, and oversee database migrations to Exadata platforms. This full-time remote role offers opportunities to work with advanced technologies and requires strong knowledge of Oracle GoldenGate and experience in performance tuning.

- Strong knowledge of Oracle GoldenGate (uni & bi-directional).

- Maintain database performance and security.
- Work closely with app teams during migrations.

Job Title: Oracle Database Administrator - Bilingual
We are seeking an Oracle DBA with hands‑on experience performing Oracle 11g to 19c upgrades, database migrations using RMAN backup/restore, and Oracle GoldenGate unidirectional and bidirectional replication setups. The role also requires experience in Exadata migrations, including moving databases from Oracle 11g environments to Exadata platforms.
- Manage RMAN backups, restore, and recovery processes.
- Maintain database performance, security, and patching.
- Work closely with app teams during migration cutover.
- Provide documentation and knowledge transfer.
- Perform Oracle 11g → 19c database upgrades using:
- RMAN backup/restore.
- Out-of-place upgrades.
- Transport methods / Data Pump (if required).
- Run pre‑upgrade and post‑upgrade checks.
- Perform validation, testing, and rollback planning.
- Install, configure, and manage Oracle GoldenGate Unidirectional replication (source → target), Bidirectional (active‑active) replication.
- Configure Extract, Data Pump, and Replicate processes.
- Monitor replication lag and performance.
- Migrate Oracle 11g databases to Exadata platforms.
- Understand Cell/compute node architecture, ASM disk groups, Smart Scan, and storage indexes.
- Perform RMAN restore/duplicate on Exadata.
- Optimize database settings based on Exadata best practices.
- 8+ years as an Oracle DBA.
- Hands‑on with Oracle 11g, 12c, 19c.
- Experience with RMAN backup/restore cloning and migration.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle GoldenGate (uni & bi‑directional).
- Experience with Exadata platform, ASM, and RAC.
- Strong SQL, performance tuning basics, and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with PDB/CDB multitenant architecture.
- Knowledge of Data Guard.
