Descripción del empleo
Overview

Zillow Group is seeking a strategic and analytical Senior Financial Analyst to join our high-impact Strategic Finance team. In this pivotal role, you’ll serve as a key business partner to senior leaders—driving planning, forecasting, and analysis for Spruce, Zillow’s innovative, digitally integrated title and escrow business. Your work will shape critical decisions, support product go-to-market success, and directly influence Zillow’s growth strategy across the real estate transaction ecosystem.

Role Details

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.

In addition to a competitive base salary and benefits, this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location.

Who you are
  • You have a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • You bring 3–5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably supporting high-growth product, GTM, or operations teams in tech or financial services.
  • You’re fluent in Excel or Google Sheets, and love building and iterating on complex financial models.
  • You know your way around Tableau or other visualization tools and can turn data into stories that drive decisions.
  • You’re a clear communicator and trusted partner, able to break down complex financial concepts for cross-functional teams and senior leaders.
  • You notice the details others miss and love asking smart questions that move strategy forward.
  • You thrive in environments where things move fast, ambiguity is a given, and curiosity leads the way.
  • Experience with public company processes or reporting rhythms is a plus.
You will get to:
  • Partner closely with Spruce Product and Business leaders to shape the go-to-market (GTM) strategy within Zillow’s integrated transaction experience.
  • Lead end-to-end financial forecasting and planning for Spruce—including state-level revenue, pricing strategy, and unit economics modeling.
  • Build scalable reporting tools and dashboards that track performance against plan and surface actionable insights.
  • Deliver clear, compelling financial recommendations to executive stakeholders to guide strategic decision-making.
  • Support financial planning across Zillow’s marketplace services, balancing mature business operations and early-stage initiatives.
  • Drive long-range planning processes tied to strategic growth, resource allocation, and new investment opportunities.
  • Continuously improve financial systems and planning processes to enhance forecast accuracy, visibility, and scalability.
  • Collaborate across finance, product, and strategy teams to ensure alignment across key objectives.
