Purpose
Design and Develop Parts and mechanical products based on product development procedures and operational objectives and ensure compliance with quality, cost and time commitments of development projects.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design Parts and New Mechanical Products for protection, control and electrical measurement systems to increase the product offering, competitive advantages and business profitability.
- Analyze customer requirements as well as regulations and standards applicable to products and obtain knowledge of customer needs and regulations applicable to design.
- Develop product with Quality, Manufacturing, Materials and Marketing fulfilling the objectives of the projects.
- Provide technical support to other areas of the company such as engineering and manufacturing, assist and provide technical solutions for the product or process that are presented.
- Create Materials for technical data sheets, Instruction Manuals, and technical material for training sales force and customers of mechanical products and have quality technical information for product users.
- Keep all project design information up to date and available for consultation by any person authorized by the R&D area.
- Identify, Measure and Improve the New Product Development process for the standardization and optimization of work practices.

Requirements (Education/Experience/Training/Skills/Competencies)
Mechanical Engineering with Specialty in Mechanical Design / Mechanical Engineering / Mechanical-Electrical Engineer / Mechanical Engineering Manager / Industrial Engineering / Industrial Design.
Occasional business trips.
255 to 405 TOEIC points in the English language.
One to two years of experience as a Power Core I Engineer/ Electrical Designer.
Technical Drawing (Drawings and 3D Models) - AutoCAD 2D, 3D Software - Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Basic knowledge of materials and plastic injection process.
Desired Requirements (Education/Experience/Training/Skills/Competencies)
- Mechanical design.
- Sheet Parts Design.
- Basic Knowledge of Manufacturing Processes such as: Shear, punching, bending.
- Design of Plastic Parts for injection molding.
- Basic concepts of ventilation and air conditioning.
