5G Core Design Manager
Job summary
A leading telecommunications company in Jakarta Utara is seeking a 5G Core Design Manager. Ideal candidates should have at least 10 years in mobile network planning and 2 years in 5G architecture deployment. Responsibilities include designing 5G core solutions using various planning tools, and ensuring alignment with industry best practices. Candidates must possess strong analytical skills and be willing to travel for site visits. Competitive compensation package and commitment to confidentiality for applicants.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience in core mobile network planning.
- At least 2 years focused on 5G Core architecture and deployment.
- Deep knowledge of 5GC components and interfaces.
Responsibilities
- Design and manage 5G core network solutions.
- Utilize planning tools for network optimization.
- Coordinate with stakeholders for project execution.

Bachelor’s Degree (MSc preferred) in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
Experienced min. 10 years in core mobile network planning, with at least 2 years focused on 5G Core (5GC) architecture and deployment.
Deep knowledge of 5GC components (AMF, SMF, UPF, NRF, etc.) and interfaces (N1, N2, N3, N4).
Proficient with planning tools (e.g., Atoll, NetPlan, OSS/BSS) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Strong analytical, Excel/PowerBI, and stakeholder‑management abilities.
Willing to travel for site visits, flexible to support rollout timelines, and up‑to‑date with 3GPP releases and industry best practices.
