Job description

We are currently looking for an International Commercial Manager to support our international business expansion. This role covers either the China or Malaysia market, depending on the candidate’s experience.

In this role, you will be responsible for driving commercial growth, managing distributors and key customers, and executing market-specific strategies in the assigned international market. You will work closely with internal teams and international stakeholders to ensure strong market performance and sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute commercial strategies to drive brand growth and sales in the assigned market (China or Malaysia)
  • Manage distributors and key customer relationships, including contract negotiation and performance management
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, risks, and new business opportunities
  • Collaborate with marketing, operations, and finance teams to ensure effective execution of commercial initiatives
  • Monitor competitor activities and market performance, providing strategic recommendations to management
  • Represent the company at relevant industry events and trade shows
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial, sales, or business development roles within the FMCG industry
  • Proven experience handling China or Malaysia markets (market exposure is mandatory)
  • Strong experience in distributor management
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong commercial and analytical capabilities
  • Fluent in English; Mandarin proficiency is required for China market coverage
  • Willingness to travel regularly to the assigned market
