Production Team Leader
Job summary
A manufacturing company based in Reading is looking for a proactive Production Team Leader to oversee production line operations. The role involves leading a team, ensuring quality and safety, and maintaining production flow. Candidates should have at least 1 year of manufacturing experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to interpret technical drawings. Responsibilities
- Lead daily activities on the production line to meet output and quality goals.
- Promote and ensure health, safety, and cleanliness on the shop floor.
- Identify and resolve issues quickly to maintain smooth production flow.
- Support training and performance feedback for line team members.
- Maintain accurate production records and support continuous improvement efforts.
- Ensure proper shift handovers and line readiness.
Skills
Working hours: Monday to Friday
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 p/a
Location: Reading, UK

- Maintain accurate production records and support continuous improvement efforts.
- Ensure proper shift handovers and line readiness.
- At least 1 year of manufacturing experience (35 years preferred).
- Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and lead by example.
