A leading healthcare provider in Coventry is seeking an enthusiastic health care support worker to assist with cardiology patients in the Cath Lab. Key responsibilities include direct patient care, stock management, and supporting clinical tasks under the supervision of a registered nurse. We are looking for an enthusiastic health care support worker to join our team looking after Cardiology patients undergoing procedures within the Cath Lab.
The post holder will be carrying out assigned tasks involving direct patient care, whilst demonstrating Trust values under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, and also support the team with transfer of patients, stock management and infection control.

Additional responsibilities include: unpacking stock, storing stock in appropriate store cupboards with stock personnel, assisting with personal patient care (e.g., feeding, mobility), supporting less experienced staff, assisting during clinical events requiring physical effort, supporting during medical emergencies such as cardiac arrests, supporting staff and patients after difficult situations, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and promoting adherence to Health and Safety and Trust policy.
