A prominent NHS trust in London is seeking an enthusiastic pharmacy assistant to join their busy Pharmacy Production Unit. Your role will involve preparing sterile medicines and assisting with stock control, ensuring high standards of work. Good communication skills and a background in English, Mathematics, and Science are essential. Previous experience is preferred, but full training will be provided. This role will require working on Sundays and bank holidays as part of a rota.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated person to work in our busy Pharmacy Production Unit. You will be working as part of a team of pharmacists, technicians and assistants preparing sterile medicines, chemotherapy and antibiotic injections.
You must be reliable, hardworking and able to work to high standards of accuracy and precision. You will be expected to assist with stock control and be confident using a computer. Good communication skills, manual dexterity, and a pass (grade A-C/9-4 in GCSE or equivalent) in English, Mathematics, and a Science subject, are essential.
There will be a commitment to regular Sunday and bank holiday working on a rota basis.
Previous experience is preferred, although not essential as full training will be provided.
