The Institute works closely with local, state and federal governments, industry, research organisations and communities to generate solutions for the sustainable use of ocean resources.
The role is based within the Indian Ocean Marine Research Centre (IOMRC), a flagship collaboration between UWA, the Australian Institute of Marine Science (AIMS), CSIRO Oceans & Atmosphere, and the Western Australian Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development. The IOMRC provides world‑class facilities and a unique collaborative environment supporting multidisciplinary marine research across shared infrastructure at the Crawley and Waterman’s Bay sites.
