Qualifications

Job description
Course Lead – BA Creative Production

St Mary's University is seeking an experienced academic to join the Creative Arts team as the Course Lead for our BA Creative Production programme.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead recruitment activities.
  • Teach modules across the Creative Arts.
  • Collaborate with the Associate Head of Partnerships in developing collaborations with local FE colleges.
  • Ensure the student experience meets higher education standards.
  • Support the School’s overall cultural engagement activities, including the annual Festival of Creativity.

Requirements:

  • Expert knowledge and experience in contemporary theatre and performance design practices.
  • Specific competencies in digital drafting and associated software platforms.
  • Experience in lighting and/or sound.
  • Strong understanding of audio-visual (AV) technology.
  • Good understanding of Higher Education processes.
  • Demonstrable ability to ensure the student experience.
